End Wrapper/Rotofeed Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety rules, LOTO, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform all necessary pre-production safety checks.
• Good housekeeping is required at all times. The work area must be clean, orderly, and free of hazards, including ends, broken wood, and torn bags.
• Follow all SOPs applicable to perform this work, as well as general plant SOPs.
• Ensure that all quality SOP requirements are followed and that visual inspection is occurring and documented at all times.
• Feed four (4) roto feeds with tops and bottoms on the pallet feeder.
• Report to the shift supervisor for further requirements when lines are down or underperforming.
• Participate in team meetings as required.
• Sort as per instructions.
• When requested/required, assist in covering for the Palletizer Operator.
• Bag tops and bottoms while keeping count.
• Apply product identification labels as required.
• Process production paperwork.
• Perform all necessary quality checks to ensure fittings meet documented quality requirements.
• Document completed daily housekeeping.
• Show strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members.
• Show strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality.
• Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
• This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
• Able to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift hours - 2:45 pm to 11 pm.
