About the role
The End User Computing Engineer supports, manages, and oversees the day-to-day operations of Goodwill’s end-user computing environment, including desktops, mobile devices, printers, POS devices, and peripherals across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Implements strategies to achieve organizational goals and IT infrastructure objectives.
- Develops lifecycle and asset management processes.
- Develops strategic management processes, including new application and upgrade evaluations.
- Tests new or enhanced applications, including systems enhancements and provides feedback.
- Deploy Windows using Microsoft Autopilot.
- Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments.
- Serves as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department.
- Engages in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor.
- Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
- Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues.
- Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and 3-4 years experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to provision and troubleshoot O365 accounts.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Windows Autopilot services setup and deployment.
- Deep knowledge in Software packaging and distribution using SCCM.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of vehicle insurance.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Skills
- Ability to work in a semi-autonomous and fast-paced environment.
- Good Knowledge and experience in Intune configurations, policies and management.
- Hands-on experience in managing Windows Devices with co-management.
