Encapsulation for Third Shift (Grave) 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Essential Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machinery with ability to make adjustments or minor repairs.
• Inspects capsules produced to ensure that capsules are being filled according to specifications.
• Records information, such as batch code, time, barrels used and capsule box number.
• Investigates if product yield is not met to give a reasonable justification.

Additional Responsibilities

• Contributes to department team incentive goals.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Competencies/skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills to input data into the database.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current food handler’s permit.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
• Occasionally lift up to 90 lbs., frequently lift up to 40 lbs., and constantly lift up to 20 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include near acuity, far acuity, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
