Position Summary

About the role

Concentra is seeking a PRN (as-needed) EMT to support a client's construction site in Wilmington, DE. The role involves day shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical and trauma care to patients in various settings.
• Perform triage and deliver urgent care to patients.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in line with established protocols.
• Work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician.
• Administer prescribed first-aid treatment, including artificial resuscitation.
• Communicate with emergency treatment facilities as directed.
• Maintain supplies, clean equipment, and ensure the facility operates efficiently.
• Complete quality assurance activities and adhere to safety rules.
• Assist clients with wellness activities and maintain a clean, orderly facility.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced EMT.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• OSHA safety certifications or experience.
• Experience in 911 services and fire fighter experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Major: Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Continuing education required to maintain license and perform job.
• Customarily has at least 3 years of 911 experience.
