Medcor is looking to hire a part-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer-based, occupational health clinic in Woodbridge, NJ.
Schedule
Every other weekend, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Pay
$29.00 – $33.00/hour.
About the role
This position offers the chance to use your clinical skills in a worksite clinic setting, with opportunities for growth, training, and even travel. Medcor values stability, open communication, and internal advancement—20% of annual openings are filled by current employees.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local providers, client staff, and corporate contacts.
- Provide patient care, manage workers’ compensation cases, and facilitate Return to Work (RTW) programs.
- Monitor treatment plans and coordinate with outside medical providers.
- Daily clinic operations, including injury/illness assessment and treatment using Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols (MCPs).
- Deliver superior customer service to clients and employees.
- Support onsite employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
- Document care using EMR and other tools (e.g., medical charting, OSHA record-keeping, Physical Assessment Testing).
Requirements
- Valid licensure (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) for the position.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., EMR software, cell phones, fax machines).
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for patient care.
- Willingness to go above and beyond in your role.

- Experience in a worksite clinic or occupational health setting.
- Background in emergency medicine or critical care.
