Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN as an Onsite Health Technician in an employer-based, occupational health clinic in Middleton, CT.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM EST

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols – MCPs)
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
  • Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings, Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), and case management
  • Maintain OSHA record-keeping
  • Handle general administrative duties

Requirements

  • Valid licensure for the position (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong computer and technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.) and familiarity with EMR software
  • Physical ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for people and delivering high-quality care
  • Willingness to go above and beyond

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
  • Relevant occupational health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
