EMT or Paramedic (PRN)
Medcor is looking to hire an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN (as-needed) basis to work as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer-based, occupational health clinic in Pueblo, CO.
Schedule
- Sunday – Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Thursday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay
Compensation starts at $27.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional pay based on experience. This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed hours.

This role involves collaborative work with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key corporate contacts. Responsibilities include patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, or MCPs)
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
- Manage cases and medical charting
- Work closely with outside medical providers
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software)
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Passion for patient care and going above and beyond
- Ability to have fun while delivering high-quality care
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
- Relevant occupational health experience
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
