EMT or Paramedic (Clinic Manager)
About the role
The Clinic Manager position is available at Medcor's construction site clinic in Palmetto, GA. Hours are Monday - Saturday from 7:00am - 5:00pm. Duties may vary based on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling
- Responsible for the clinic operations
- Work collaboratively with key client stakeholders, including health, safety, environmental, HR and benefits professionals, as well as working with medical and operational leadership at Medcor
- Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
- Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
- Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
- Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
Requirements
- Able to operate in a construction environment
- Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong computer and other technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc), as well as familiarity with EMR software
- Able to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- A positive and outgoing personality

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
