EMT or Paramedic (Clinic Manager)

About the role

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to serve as the Clinic Manager at our construction site clinic located in Yerington, NV. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for weekend shifts upon client request.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling
• Responsible for the clinic operations
• Work collaboratively with key client stakeholders, including health, safety, environmental, HR and benefits professionals, as well as medical and operational leadership at Medcor
• Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
• Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
• Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools

Requirements

• Able to operate in a construction environment
• Comfortable climbing stairs and working at heights
• Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong computer and other technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.), as well as familiarity with EMR software
• Able to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills

Pay

$140 per day per diem for those who qualify
