Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Requirements
- Strongly Preferred 2-3 Years Of Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, NREMT
- Pass Physical Agility Test
Qualifications
- Available to work, days, nights, weekends and holidays, extended workdays.
- Long periods inside the ambulance.
- May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather.
- Periodic routine exposure to moderate noise levels.
- Routine exposure to moderate to extended amounts of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Repetitive motion activities.
- Routinely lift more than 200 lbs. with assistance.
- Pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, carrying, typing, and stair climbing.
- Visual identification of color-coded items.
- Clear speech and hearing.
- Able to wear a face mask or respirator with proper fit for extended periods when required.
