EMT II
Compensation
Salary Range: $24.50 - $30.64 per hour
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, House Supervisor or Emergency Department Physician, provides care to the Emergency Department patient and obtains/transmits demographic data to other hospital departments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current EMT or Paramedic Certification from CA EMSA
- Current California Certified Phlebotomy license
- Current BLS Certification
- Preferred Previous experience as an EMT, Nursing Assistant, Nursing Student or Emergency Department/Admitting Clerk
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology/abbreviations
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current PALS Certification

Community Memorial Health System was established in 2005 when Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura merged with Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
