EMT Certified Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Expedites chip fills, credits and Marker buy backs for Tables Games, Cashiers, Slots departments.
• Aids guests by providing directions and answering questions.
• Investigates and responds to accidents on Harrah’s/Caesars Republic premises.
• Applies first aid and/or CPR to injured guests until professional help arrives.
• Checks guest identification to ensure they are 21 years of age or older.
• Patrols the parking lot and garage by car or van.
• Escorts employees with monies.
• Completes written reports as assigned.
• Controls and directs traffic as needed.
• Maintains great customer service.
• Makes observations and reports disturbances, crimes, fire hazards, and undesirable persons to Security supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Literacy and fluency in English.
• Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Report writing skills.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to obtain a license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• Acts as a role model and maintains high standards of integrity.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
