EMT - Bilingual in Spanish

Role: Center Medical Specialist Responsibilities: Conduct physical exams, review medical histories, and assess donor suitability; build rapport with donors; ensure confidentiality; educate donors on health and test results; manage donor injuries and adverse events; evaluate health status and medication history; assist in employee training; administer hepatitis vaccines. Qualifications: Licensed or certified as RN, LPN, VN, Paramedic, or EMT per state requirements; current CPR certification; bilingual in Spanish. Skills & Attributes: Ability to perform standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting; good hand-eye coordination; excellent communication skills; independent work ethic; attention to safety and hygiene protocols; ability to work in a biological fluids environment with protective gear; capable of handling variable demands and working in a plasma center setting. Key Duties: Ensure donor safety and satisfaction, provide health education, evaluate health and injury risks, and maintain a safe, compliant environment.
