Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in conjunction with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Colorado EMT certification
• Current CPR/BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross)
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Driving record compliant with company policies
• Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT)

Qualifications

• EMT IV Endorsement Certification (preferred)
• NREMT (preferred)
• Previous healthcare related work experience (preferred)

Pay

Starting salary: $41,799.68 per year (with credit for experience). Hourly range: $12.56 – $20.10.
