About the Role
Located in Fairfax, OK, we are immediately hiring a Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize EMT skills, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools, to provide care.
- Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
- Participate in community programs to uphold AMR’s image and build strong community relations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, NREMT
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in healthcare
