EMT Basic - Located in Topeka, KS
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Maintain confidentiality and patient rights during documentation of patient information, condition, and treatment.
- Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other allied health and public safety personnel.
- Use appropriate medical equipment and follow cleaning procedures and office protocols.
- Participate in community programs to enhance AMR’s reputation and foster strong community relationships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible
- CPR certification
- NREMT certification preferred
- State Driver’s License
- Compliant driving record
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Qualifications
Experience with emergency medical techniques and equipment is preferred but not required. Training and support will be provided.
