About the role

Located in Bayshore, NY. We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high‑quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Driver’s License
• NY State EMT certification
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials
• CPR/BLS certification
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred

Pay

Starting pay is $20.35/hr and up, based on years of experience. Pay range: $20.35 – $24.32 per hour based on experience. Referral bonus: $5,000 for referring a full‑time paramedic or $2,500 for a part‑time paramedic (terms and conditions apply).
