EMT Basic - Located in Batesville, MS

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other allied health professionals.
• Participate in community programs to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS certification.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
• Passing driving record.
• Physical agility test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in healthcare preferred.

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
