EMT Basic - Atlanta

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond to medical and traumatic emergencies.
• Provide BLS care during emergency calls and patient transfers.
• Work within TMHC and Georgia EMS protocols.
• Assist ALS teams within your scope of practice.
• Complete clear and accurate patient documentation.
• Represent TMHC with professionalism and compassion.

Daily Duties

• Ensure vehicles and equipment are cleaned, stocked, and ready.
• Drive and respond safely, following all legal and company protocols.
• Follow infection control and Universal Precautions.
• Mentor and train fellow team members when needed.
• Participate in community outreach and education.
• Report on time, in uniform, and stay shift ready.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia EMT or AEMT certification (DPH/OEMS).
• CPR – BLS (AHA preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Professional, team-oriented, and patient-focused.
• Must be 25 years old.
