EMT Basic

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs in a professional manner.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Wyoming EMT certification.
• NREMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Compliant driving record.
• Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

• Experience in emergency and non-emergency medical assistance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Pay

$16.00 / hour starting, with credit given for experience.

Schedule

Full-time 12-hour shifts, often nights, weekends, and holidays.
