Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, other healthcare providers, and public safety personnel.
- Perform cleaning procedures and use appropriate medical equipment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow EMTs and allied health professionals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT License.
- State Driver’s License.
- BLS certification.
- NREMT certification.
- Passing physical agility test.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
Qualifications
- Some work experience in healthcare preferred.
- Related experience in healthcare.
