EMT Basic
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Immediate hiring for a part‑time opportunity. We’re hiring EMTs to respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high‑quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize EMT skills for communications, medical equipment operation, cleaning procedures, and use of office equipment and tools.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws governing emergency medical response vehicles.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT license.
- State driver’s license.
- BLS certification, NREMT.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass physical agility test.
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related experience in healthcare.
