EMT ADVANCED - AU EVENT STAFF

Position Summary

The EMT II performs pre-hospital care in a holistic systematic way, producing quality patient care with optimal patient outcomes. Utilizes State of Alabama Protocols to deliver quality patient care. Incorporates data and information to improve patient care. Performs a comprehensive patient assessment by interpreting multiple, at times conflicting data, and proceeding to give patient care based on findings. Documents patient care activities and relays pertinent patient information to those who have a need to know.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum Experience: N/A
• Required Registration/License/Certification: BLS within 90 days
• Drivers License
• Advanced EMT licensed with the state of Alabama
• Emergency Vehicle Operation Course
• PREFERRED Education: Associates Degree
• PREFERRED Registration/License/Certification: EVOC
• Other Requirements: N/A
