EMT Advanced

Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use AEMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws for emergency medical response vehicles.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AEMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State AEMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS and NREMT-A certification.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related experience in healthcare.
