Academy Details
- Format: Classroom setting. Mix of Live Instructor led Classes/Labs as well as Webcast courses.
- Location: Roswell, GA
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0900-1700 (one-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Clinical Rotations: 48 clinical hours on Central EMS ambulances
- Orientation: 1 week
- Program Length: 10 weeks (Total 11 weeks with Orientation)
- Certification Level: EMT-B

Expected From Participants
- Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
- Prompt testing for NREMT within 1 week from course completion.
- Commitment to work for Central EMS in a full-time position for at least 2 years after acquiring state licensure.
Qualifications
- Admission Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid Class C drivers license with at least 1 year driving experience
- Be able to pass:
- - Pre-employment interview
- - Pre-employment testing (FISDAP exam)
- - Background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening)
- - Drug screening
