Employment Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement intelligent strategies to assist clients with federal, state, and local employment tax issues, including identifying cost savings opportunities.
• Deliver employment tax services for multiple clients across various industries.
• Interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Work closely with partners to deliver innovative tax planning strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• CPA or EA preferred, but not required.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) accreditation preferred.
• Recent experience in a public accounting firm or multi-state payroll tax environment.
• 4-5 years of payroll tax consulting and/or compliance experience in the employment tax space.
• Experience with federal, state, and local employment tax matters, including compliance and issue resolution.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer expertise, including knowledge of relevant technology.

Pay

$98,500 - $164,000 a year. The actual salary may fall within or outside this range based on circumstances.
