About the role
The Employment Specialist/Job Coach provides individualized support to individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop customized employment plans
- Facilitate job placement and ongoing support services
- Provide training and coaching in job readiness skills
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of employment supports and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current certification as an Employment Specialist or Job Coach
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
