About the role

ServiceSource is an organization dedicated to driving innovation and strengthening communities through the support of individuals facing disability, justice involvement, poverty, and homelessness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diverse case management to individuals enrolled in employment programs.
  • Coordinate vocational assessments, facilitate job development and placement, and provide pre-employment services.
  • Support participants in identifying job goals, executing job searches, obtaining employment, and retaining employment.
  • Facilitate quarterly needs assessments to address barriers to employment.
  • Manage an active caseload of up to 40 individuals, ensuring they complete milestones such as intake, job development/placement, training goals, stabilization, and closure.
  • Achieve a 70% job placement rate among enrolled participants.
  • Weekly engagement with participants, offering job readiness training, technology literacy, and financial literacy.
  • Develop individualized employment plans (IPEs) with clear, measurable goals, and assist in setting employment objectives.
  • Identify vocational strengths and transferable skills, and build relationships with employers to find job opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly surveys with participants and employers for service feedback.
  • Upload employment proof into SETWorks and provide job-retention support during the first 90 days.
  • Assist participants with navigating concrete and social issues affecting their employment.
  • Attend relevant staff and community meetings.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate participants' skills, experience, interests, barriers, and support needs.
  • Teach job search strategies, including networking and online job platforms, and conduct mock interviews and coaching sessions.
  • Deliver training on employability skills and workplace etiquette.
  • Facilitate job and resource fairs.
  • Accurately and timely document all participant interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred.
  • One year of experience working in employment with individuals facing disabilities and other barriers to employment preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including grammar and reasoning skills.
  • Understanding of socioeconomic conditions impacting homelessness, justice involvement, disability, and severe poverty.
  • Commitment to an integrated services model with employment as a key component to ending poverty and homelessness.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with community resources and establish effective working relationships with consumers, families, staff, and community agencies.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information without breach.
  • Well-organized and self-directed individual with a team player attitude.
