About the role

Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub offers a one-stop source of information, advice, guidance and support around employment and skills. Working with a range of partners and employers in localities across Gloucestershire, the Hub delivers 1:1 support through a number of programs for people with barriers to sustaining or retaining work, as well as advice and signposting for any resident looking for help.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals from diverse backgrounds who face significant barriers such as disability and long-term health conditions to find and maintain sustained employment.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, helping them identify suitable job goals through vocational profiling and personalized employment plans.
  • Work closely with local employers and support organizations to create inclusive opportunities, using knowledge of the local labor market to match people’s strengths with real job opportunities.

  • A solid understanding of employment policies and welfare services.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a strong sense of purpose.
  • The ability to negotiate, influence, and build partnerships.

Pay

The salary range for this role is £30,024 - £32,597 per annum.

Schedule

This is a fixed term contract lasting two years.
