Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess employment needs and establish a job search plan
- Aid clients in resume development and job search
- Guide clients through exploring and registering for training, certification, and education programs
- Develop and conduct workshops on job search skills
- Create and maintain partnerships with potential employers and training providers
- Coordinate client participation in job fairs and events
- Schedule clients for computer access and monitor usage
- Document client interactions and employment-related activities
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
Requirements
- BA/BS in Sociology, Psychology, Career Services, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or Human Services
- At least two (2) years of experience in career coaching, workforce development, or job placement
- Experience working with adults, individuals affected by mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness
- Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
