About the Role
This is a full-time human services position, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule to support job seekers. You’ll coach job seekers, build employer relationships, and create solutions to overcome employment barriers. Your work will include mentoring workplace skills, tracking progress, and supporting individuals through personalized plans—whether celebrating a new job or helping others navigate challenges.
Responsibilities
- Coach job seekers to develop workplace skills and achieve employment goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities.
- Create personalized plans to help individuals overcome employment barriers.
- Track progress and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term success.
- Celebrate milestones, such as job placements, and assist with workplace challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, psychology, counseling, human services, business, or related fields or 1+ years of experience in job-seeking, coaching, leadership, training, or disability services.
- Transferable skills from roles like customer service, barista/bartending, networking, or coaching are highly valued.
- 18+ years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Passion for service and a desire to support others in achieving their goals.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (drug-free workplace) and an agency-specific DHS background check.
Pay
Starting at $22 per hour, with a 15% shift differential for evening and weekend hours.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evening and weekend hours as needed.
