About the Role
The Employment Specialist works with clients experiencing homelessness to find and retain sustainable employment opportunities. Position Responsibilities include:
- Provide field-based and onsite employment-related case management services in the areas of, but not limited to, assessment, community integration, employment linkage, procurement of benefits and all other services needed to assist clients in reaching their Individualized Service Plan goals.
- Conduct employability assessments of participants, including assessing readiness for work, physical and mental capabilities.
- Develop and update Individualized Employment Plans for enrolled participants.
- Maintain complete and accurate records and ensure timely updates on client participation and communicate progress to case managers.
- Provide job readiness skills training such as resume development, interviewing skills and job search techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience in employment related services for a vulnerable population.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in employment related services for a vulnerable population.
Mandatory Requirements
- Have employment eligibility verification.
- Be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training.
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire: Tuberculosis Test, Background Screening, Drug Test.
- Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties, and the ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage.
