Employment Solicitor

An Employment Solicitor with 2-6 years PQE is sought by a Legal 500 rated regional practice in Suffolk. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £50,000 and £65,000, reflecting the calibre of work available.

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join the reputable team of a leading regional practice in Suffolk. The role includes advising across a broad range of employment matters, with support from experienced associates and partners. You will manage a busy caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including tribunal claims, contractual disputes, drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies and procedures.

You will also advise on and manage employment tribunal matters, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, and related documentation. The role involves supporting business development through networking activities, both face-to-face and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of employment matters, including tribunal claims and contractual disputes
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies and procedures
• Advise on and manage employment tribunal matters, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, and related documentation
• Support business development through networking activities
• Provide client-focused advice and build strong client relationships

Requirements

• 2-6 years PQE in employment law
• Strong academic background
• Experience advising on employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious
• Ability to manage your own caseload effectively while supporting the team
• Client-focused approach with strong communication skills
