About the role

The Employment Services Specialist plays a crucial role in connecting individuals with disabilities to employment opportunities. This includes conducting assessments, providing job placement services, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify employment needs and potential matches
• Provide job placement services and career counseling
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Develop and implement strategies to increase employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities
• Collaborate with employers to facilitate successful job placements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in employment services or related field
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with job placement software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
