This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support employment-related claims such as wrongful termination and discrimination
- Assist in responding to agency charges like EEOC and Labor Commissioner
- Draft position statements, settlement agreements, and litigation documents
- Partner with HR on pre-litigation dispute resolution and risk mitigation
- Support broader litigation matters, including commercial disputes and regulatory inquiries
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and pleadings
- Identify trends in claims and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Minimum seven years of litigation experience focused on employment law
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, Title VII, ADA)
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Pay
$140,000 – $160,000 annually
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
