About the role
This role is ideal for an experienced employment attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys handling complex workplace matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and responding to administrative charges and employment claims, providing strategic counsel, and partnering with clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and defend employment-related administrative charges before federal, state, and local agencies.
- Draft position statements, responses, and other advocacy materials.
- Analyze claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, leave, accommodation, and other employment-related matters.
- Provide practical legal guidance and risk mitigation strategies to employers.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals across a national platform.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and solution-oriented counsel.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 6 years of employment law experience, with significant exposure to administrative agency proceedings and employment-related disputes.
- Active license to practice law in the state of residence.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and client-service orientation.
