Employment and Training Program Manager

About the role

The SNAP E&T Program Manager oversees the implementation and compliance of employment and training programs within the SNAP initiative. They lead a team of Provider Managers, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with federal and state regulations. The role involves developing training, managing program reviews, and coordinating with various agencies to monitor and improve program operations. The manager serves as a subject matter expert, representing the program at meetings and stakeholder engagements, and collaborates with staff to enhance service quality and resolve operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and compliance of SNAP employment and training programs.
• Lead and manage a team of Provider Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop training programs and manage program reviews in alignment with federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate with various agencies to monitor and improve program operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, representing the program at meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance service quality and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• College degree.
• Several years of experience in workforce development, program management, or related fields.
• Preferred expertise in policy interpretation, project management, supervision, and data analysis.
• Ability to travel and comply with ethics and revolving door restrictions.
