Who are we?

We are ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies. ARCO is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager to support our Talent Acquisition team in our Chicago office.

What we can offer you

  • Typical base compensation for the Marketing Manager role is between $80,000 and $100,000.
  • Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range.
  • In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent degree required.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a marketing/business management role.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns and digital advertising.
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and website optimization.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems/ATS and experience supporting Talent Acquisition or Human Resources preferred.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and work well with and without processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting to executive management teams and clients.
  • Ability to collaborate on a team, but also work independently, show initiative, and strive to grow.
  • Experience conceptualizing the big picture goal, while also working hands-on to drive execution and solve problems.
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to utilize analysis for insights and action.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Canva experience is a plus.

A Day in the Life

  • Continue to develop and implement a comprehensive employer branding strategy that aligns with the company’s values, culture, and business goals.
  • Build purposeful brand awareness by creating and executing strategies for acquiring top talent.
  • Improve career site SEO to increase organic traffic and candidate conversion.
  • Partner with Marketing and Talent Acquisition leadership to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Create compelling recruitment content, including employee stories, videos, social media campaigns, articles, career site content, email campaigns, and campus recruiting materials.
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence on candidate-facing social media platforms (Instagram), fostering positive relationships with candidates and the broader professional community.
  • Ensure recruitment campaigns align with broader corporate branding initiatives.
  • Support hiring events, career fairs, and campus recruiting campaigns.
  • Measure campaign performance and continuously optimize results.
  • Research where targeted talent populations spend time online.
  • Identify new sourcing channels and marketing opportunities.
  • Analyze labor market trends and candidate behavior.
  • Provide recruiters with recommendations on effective attraction strategies by role, geography, and skill set.
  • Benchmark employer branding efforts against competitors.
  • Evaluate advertising channels and recommend where jobs should be promoted based on hiring needs.
