About the role
This role will lead the charge in identifying, scoping, administering, and communicating employee benefits programs to include health and welfare benefits, time off programs, open enrollment, employee education, vendor coordination, and benefits-related employee support.Responsibilities
- Supports HR operations and benefits administration with 10+ years of experience
- Manages records, deadlines, and recurring tasks effectively
- Coordinates onboarding, offboarding, and policy administration
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Communicates clearly with employees, managers, and vendors
- Converts recurring service issues into durable workflows
- Works collaboratively within the team to implement scalable HR processes
Requirements
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- Strong experience in scaling and deploying workforce benefits
- Experience in small, high-trust technical teams (desired)
- Experience in rapidly growing small/mid-size tech businesses (desired)
- Experience administering benefits scoping and enrollment (desired)
- Experience maintaining HRIS records and personnel files (desired)
- Familiarity with cleared workplaces and defense contractors (desired)
- Familiarity with employment eligibility and required notices (desired)
- Experience creating checklists, templates, FAQs, and internal tools (desired)
- Ability to support compensation and feedback workflows (desired)
