Employee Services Assistant
The Employee Services Assistant will assist with the processing of payroll for multiple legal entities using ADP Vantage and Fusion HCM. This role is based in Arlington Heights, IL.

Responsibilities
- Assists with the processing of new hires, employee data changes, and terminations in the HRIS and payroll systems
- Enters payable items or corrections into bi-weekly payroll batches
- Processes payroll, imports time files data, and ensures payroll is processed within established timeframes
- Reviews payroll reports to provide feedback to Sr. Employee Services Lead for corrections or changes before payroll is processed
- Validates data accuracy in both HRIS and payroll systems
- Aids in reporting needed for audits
- Provides payroll information by communicating with employees to resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately
- Affords support during acquisitions and payroll transitions
- Sets up new state and local taxing authorities not previously set up
- Affords support with various wage requests
- Assists with worker’s compensation reporting as needed
- Processes check adjustments, voids, manual check updates, reissues, overpayments, and other irregular payroll transactions
- Serves as backup to other team members
- Complies with all Intertek company policies and procedures
- Completes other projects and special assignments as requested
- Provides general administrative support to the department as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant payroll experience in a multi-State environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- At least 1 year of experience working with ADP
- Demonstrated confidentiality for data integrity
- Highest level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Customer service focus to resolve issues and prevent data issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Detail-oriented and effective time management
- Effective communication and interaction in verbal, written, and presentation formats
- Technical and administrative skills required to perform job duties
- Customer-focused and quality-driven
