About the role

The Employee Relationship Manager role within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions is designed to help improve employee financial wellbeing, strengthen financial awareness, and increase convenience through digital banking tools. This role involves working in an outbound sales capacity, facilitating in-person new hire orientations, delivering financial education seminars, and managing multi-faceted benefits programs.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and deepen relationships across all applicable financial wellness solutions.
  • Lead and collaborate with a wide range of partners to achieve business results.
  • Acquire consumers through proactive lead generation, appointments, and referral generation.
  • Deliver a differentiated client experience from acquisition through onboarding and ongoing servicing support.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by leveraging tools and resources to maximize business results.
  • Work across a broad range of partners, identify the best resource or team to meet customer needs, and introduce the client accordingly.
  • Hold partners accountable for routine updates and referral follow up.
  • Deliver customer well-being through tailored solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Solve customer problems courteously and with urgency, escalating where necessary.
  • Act as an advocate for clients and prospects, identifying trends and unique needs of the workforce.
  • Influence annual marketing and communication plans based on workforce knowledge and/or client needs, including all support materials, media, and content.
  • Keep your team informed of services via Edge reports and attend relationship review meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to update materials as needed.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Preferred skills include Client Relationship Building, Community Development, Competitive Strategies, Customer Loyalty, Group Problem Solving, Negotiation, New Business Development, and Relationship Management.
  • Competencies include Banking Products, Business Acumen, Customer Experience Management, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Flexibility and Adaptability, Managing Multiple Priorities, Products and Services, and Selling.
  • Education: Associates or equivalent degree, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
  • Experience: 4+ years of related business or functional experience.

Qualifications

  • Roles at this level typically require an Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.
