Employee Relations Specialist-Labor Relations

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. Responsibilities

• Promotes compliance with established System policies and procedures, union contracts and other contractual obligations, and applicable labor/employment laws and regulations.
• Proactively reviews policies and practices for effectiveness and appropriateness, including research of best practices.
• Advises regarding the resolution of routine employee and labor relations issues, including disciplinary and performance matters.
• Assists in the handling of internal and external complaints and grievances.
• Maintains metrics necessary to monitor the effectiveness of the programs.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated
