1. About Our Client:The organization operates as a major sales and marketing agency in North America, focusing on outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services. About the Opportunity:The Employee Relations Partner II is responsible for conducting comprehensive and legally defensible workplace investigations into complex issues such as policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, payroll concerns, and misconduct. This role ensures fairness and consistency in investigations, provides expert guidance on best practices, and offers recommendations to reduce organizational risk and enhance workplace culture. 3. Responsibilities:Conduct full cycle workplace investigations including intake, allegation scoping, witness identification, interviews, and evidence collection while maintaining objectivity and thoroughnessInterview complainants, respondents, witnesses, and leaders and analyze documentation and historical data to assess credibility and establish factsProduce clear, defensible investigation documentation suitable for leadership and legal review, maintaining case records in management systemsInterpret and apply employment laws, wage requirements, and workplace regulations across diverse business units, identifying systemic risks and trendsContribute to the development of investigatory standards, processes, and training materials, identifying improvements for case handling and employee experiencePartner cross-functionally with HR, legal, payroll, and business leaders to provide updates, guidance, and recommendations aligned with policy and risk mitigationProvide guidance during workforce actions and organizational changes including risk mitigation recommendations and support 4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required; degree in human resources or related field preferred8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in employee relations and investigationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service, interpersonal, prioritization, and organizational skillsProven conflict management and resolution abilitiesStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsSound judgment and independent decision-making capabilitiesAbility to lead, coach, and support team membersAbility to work effectively with management and stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to balance business objectives, associate needs, and compliance requirementsFlexibility and adaptability to changing prioritiesAdvanced knowledge of employment laws and regulationsProficiency in common business productivity toolsNo travel requirements 5.
