About the role

As a member of the Culture and Colleague Engagement platform, the Employee Relations (ER) Manager will conduct sensitive investigations into potential policy and/or Code of Conduct violations. The ER Manager will act as a neutral party through all aspects of the investigation, ensuring a timely, fair, and quality process for all involved parties. This position requires knowledge of professional and ethical investigation standards and/or human resources processes and procedures. The incumbent must possess the ability to quickly issue-spot employment and Employee Relations matters and advance appropriate recommendations that align with our cultural values.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate internal complaints for assigned client group, ensuring a detailed investigation process, including coordination, conducting interviews, and maintaining accurate and detailed records and notes.
  • Build comprehensive written investigation reports that clearly identify the issues investigated, summarize the evidence, make findings and recommendations, and identify root cause.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen culture programs focusing on ethical business practices.
  • Partner internally with ER colleagues, leaders, Employment Law, and HR teams as appropriate to achieve responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Employee Relations efforts or relevant HR experience.
  • Global HR/ER experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting and managing human resources or employee relations investigations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting with little direction and without direct supervision.
  • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
  • Strong project management, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong partnering, diplomacy, teamwork, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to multitask and deal with ambiguity.
  • Be a phenomenal teammate with a flexible, adaptable, and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Knowledge of investigative practices, risk management, and employment law.
  • Strong understanding of applicable employment laws.
