About the role
We are recruiting for a mission-driven Employee Relations Generalist II to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3-4 days in office and may require travel to off-campus clinics. You will be part of a dynamic HR team where collaboration is integral to our work.
Responsibilities
- Independently manages employee relations investigations and provides guidance on employee concerns and conflicts.
- Manages and maintains accurate case files with appropriate documentation.
- Reviews and approves corrective actions/Accountability Based Performance (ABP) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
- Provides comprehensive consultation to leaders on various employee relations matters.
- Coaches leaders through performance management situations.
- Develops and delivers HR training programs.
- Makes recommendations and implements process improvements.
- Mentors junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with focus on employee relations.
- Strong investigation and documentation skills.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HR Information Systems.
