Employee Health – Registered Nurse, 2 Outpatient

Job Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, United States, 14642

This is a regular, full-time position with daytime hours. Occasional weekend and on-call responsibilities for phone triage of SMH employee health bloodborne pathogen exposures.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards under the direction of leadership.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services and assume an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Work in a fast-paced environment providing nursing care and immunizations for:
  • Pre-employment requirements
  • Annual health updates
  • Vaccination clinics
  • Work-related injuries and illnesses
  • University of Rochester employee contagion and exposures
• Demonstrate flexibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize and work collaboratively.

Requirements

• Three years of nursing experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

The compensation range for this job is $42.00 - $56.70 per hour. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within this range, considering factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.
