Outpatient Registered Nurse

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing and directing the medical clinics at various office locations. This includes meeting with clients, consulting with physicians, completing reports, and collaborating with other professionals for general office management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client progress and problems between medication clinics and report relevant findings to the psychiatrist/physician.
• Counsel clients on the importance of following the medication regimen and observe client’s response to medication.
• Provide various forms of therapy (individual, group, family, marital) as appropriate to the level of training.
• Complete reports, records, logs, and other required data for client records.
• Coordinate all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities.
• Consult with other staff members regarding clinical cases and issues.
• Assist the psychiatrist/physician during medication clinics.
• Participate in consultation and education activities.
• Conduct in-service training sessions for staff.
• Attend administrative and clinical staffing meetings.
• Receive clinical supervision.
• Conduct client intakes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
