Employee Health Nurse (LPN)

Department: Employee Health / Occupational Medicine – Full Time, 8-Hour Day Shift

Coshocton Regional Medical Center is a 56-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving East Central Ohio, providing 24-hour emergency services and acute care services, including a network of hospital-based physician clinics. Responsibilities

• Coordinates employee annual physical examinations, new hire physical clearances, and worker’s compensation issues as requested by Human Resources.
• Provides emergency evaluation for work-related injuries.
• Assures cost-effective coordination of treatment and referral to preferred providers.
• Collaborates with management in developing objectives for employee health services compatible with hospital goals.
• Documents accurately and maintains required confidential employee and administrative records.
• Performs safety rounds to ensure safety practices are adhered to within all hospital departments, maintaining a safe environment for patients, physicians, volunteers, visitors, and employees.

Requirements

• Valid state LPN license (or LVN, RN, NP, or PA license).
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in acute care nursing.
• Previous experience in employee health, infection control, or occupational health strongly preferred.
