Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Administers tuberculosis testing for all employees.
- Oversees appropriate follow-up of positive results and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Administers vaccines as required by policy.
- Records all vaccination information in accordance with policy and federal law.
- Provides accurate and timely documentation of employee health records; maintains and ensures confidentiality of all employee files.
- Provides and assists with fit testing for all employees.
- Orders and maintains all necessary supplies for the employee health department.
- Responsible for filing all employee health records.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION.
- One year of experience in a medical setting.
- BLS CERTIFICATION.
PREFERRED
- CURRENT STATE LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN).
- Three years of prior work experience in a medical setting.
- TUBERCULOSIS SKIN TEST (TST) / TRAIN THE TRAINER (TTT) CERTIFIED.
