Responsibilities
- Develop and generate new employee benefits business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, HR professionals, and decision-makers
- Consult with clients to evaluate employee benefits needs and recommend customized solutions
- Present and sell group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits programs
- Collaborate with carrier partners to market and negotiate competitive benefit packages
- Conduct client meetings, enrollment presentations, and renewal reviews
- Maintain strong client retention through proactive service and communication
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance updates, and carrier offerings
Qualifications
- Employee benefits or insurance sales experience preferred
- Active Life & Health license preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Knowledge of employee benefits products and compliance regulations is a plus
